About the Journal

Jurnal Ilmu Ushuluddin dan Humaniora (Journal of Ushuluddin and Humanities Studies) is an academic journal dedicated to advancing scholarly discussions in the fields of Ushuluddin and the Humanities, particularly those that explore the intersections of religion, humanity, and civilization within contemporary contexts. The journal welcomes research articles, conceptual analyses, and comprehensive literature reviews that contribute to the development of knowledge and the enrichment of intellectual discourse.

This journal publishes studies that focus on:

• The Study of Religions, including interfaith relations, pluralism, comparative religious doctrines, and contemporary religious phenomena from a humanistic perspective.
• Qur’anic and Tafsir Studies with thematic, linguistic, contextual, and socio-cultural approaches.
• Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy, emphasizing classical and contemporary theological thought, ethics, and civilizational issues.
• Islamic Psychology, integrating modern psychological theories with Islamic values and their applications in society.
• Hadith Studies, covering sanad and matn analysis, methodologies of interpretation, and the implementation of prophetic values in modern life.
• Sufism and Islamic Psychotherapy, exploring spirituality, soul purification, mental health, and the holistic development of human character.

The journal upholds high standards of publication ethics rooted in honesty, objectivity, and academic responsibility. All submitted manuscripts must be original, free from plagiarism, and not under consideration in other publications.

Every submission undergoes a double-blind peer review carried out by two independent reviewers who evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, scholarly contribution, clarity of argumentation, methodological rigor, and adequacy of references. The final decision is made by the editorial board, ensuring a fair and professional review process.
